Exciting tech but I wonder if as the models progress, a distinction would be possible between AI vs human songs. AI content detectors did a lot of harm along the way. I feel this problem is just going to be a default and really difficult to solve!

Yes, ai is in its infancy and there will have to be regulations in place to prevent this stuff.

Solid breakdown of a problem most people dunno exists yet. The 70% fraud rate on AI track plays is wild and shows how quickly bad actors exploit new tech. What's really smart here is positioning detection not as anti-AI but as protecting legitimate human creators while still allowing hybrid work. I've been tracking how streaming platforms handle attribution and this fills a genuine gap, especially with ASCAP/BMI policies requiring the distinction. The timing is perfect since these platforms are drowning in content.

Yeah! All great points. We took this approach for the exact reasons mentioning. The ASCAP/BMI policies gave us a great point to work off of.
